Terms of Use

By downloading, installing, or using the Walkman application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

Walkman is a step tracking application that integrates with Apple HealthKit to display your daily step count, track fitness progress, and help you achieve your health goals. The App is provided for personal, non-commercial use only.

Some features of the App may require you to create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account and keep this information up to date.

When using the App, you agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or networks
• Interfere with or disrupt the App or servers
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Remove any copyright or proprietary notices from the App
• Use the App to transmit any viruses or malicious code

• Always consult with a qualified healthcare provider before starting any exercise program
• Do not rely on the App for medical decisions
• Step counts and other metrics are estimates and may not be 100% accurate
• If you experience any health issues, seek immediate medical attention

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Walkman and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

The App integrates with third-party services including Apple HealthKit and Firebase. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and conditions. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party services.

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Implied warranties of merchantability
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement
• Accuracy or reliability of any information obtained through the App

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Walkman, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation:

• Loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill
• Service interruption or computer damage
• Cost of substitute services
• Any damages related to your use of the App

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Walkman and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting the App and contacting us to request deletion of your data.

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Walkman operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
